RSSL ILLW 2026 concluded with great success and lasting memories.
Our team began setting up on 14th August and operated continuously from that night until the afternoon of 16th August. More than 25 RSSL members participated, making contacts with over 650 stations worldwide via CW, SSB, and digital modes.
The Down South team gave tremendous support with logistics and active participation throughout the event, we truly appreciate your effort.
Special thanks to our Event Coordinator, Chamindu, for his excellent coordination and support in making this event a success.
We sincerely thank each and everyone who came to Dondra Lighthouse to participate in and support our RSSL Lighthouse Weekend event, making it not only a success but also a truly memorable experience.
The Lighthouse in charge was very pleased with our team, and it was wonderful to see all of us together. We look forward to sharing many more events with you in the future.
We are not going to mention individual names here, as there were many members involved, and each one of you gave your fullest support. We deeply appreciate all that you have done to make this event both successful and memorable.
We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Harbour Master, Capt. Lakshi W. Siwrathne, and the TRC for their support in granting all necessary permissions. A very special thanks goes to Mr. Sunil, the Dondra Lighthouse in‑charge, for the invaluable support given to us, which greatly contributed to the success of this event.
