The RSSL while congratulating the Wickremasinghe family from Negambo would like to highlight their achievement as a landmark achievement at a time when people talk about amateur radio being outdated due to the Internet.
OM Senarath 4S6WAS obtained his General Class ticket last year and succeeded in getting his XYL Rajini 4S5ARW to sit the exam, on the Novice for starters and his son Rehan 4S5YRW. So that is a complete family of hams and we hear the XYL and Son are preparing to upgrade to General Class while OM Senarath has started brass pounding to get his advance class ticket. The way to go, and indeed an inspiration to all.

Update: Now all of them are General Class license holders with a 4S6 prefix. (4S6WAS, 4S6ARW and 4S6YRW)
