It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we bid farewell to our beloved Doctor, Nihal (4S7WN), who peacefully passed away on Saturday (18th November 2023) evening. A pillar of our community, his contributions to amateur radio and beyond were immeasurable.

🌷 Cremation Ceremony: Cortege departs A.F Raymonds parlour at 12:00 pm for cremation at the New Crematorium, General Cemetery Kanatte at 12:30 pm, Monday 20th November.
Dr. Nihal, 4S7WN, was not just a senior civil servant and former secretary to the Ministry of Health Services, but also a beacon of wisdom on the airwaves. His daily presence on 145.550MHz, a frequency now touched by his absence, exemplified the standards of conduct we should all aspire to.
In the world of amateur radio, Dr. Nihal’s legacy will endure, reminding us of the importance of respect, kindness, and dedication to our community. His departure leaves a void that will be challenging to fill.
May you attain the supreme bliss of Nibbana, dear Nihal. Your memory will forever remain in our hearts.
