The 10th National Scout Jamboree in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka, is not just an ordinary event—it’s a gathering of scouts from across the globe, creating a vibrant atmosphere of adventure. And right at the heart of this extraordinary event is the 4S7RS special event station, organized by the Radio Society of Sri Lanka (RSSL).
Participants: This jamboree has attracted an impressive crowd of around 12,000 scouts from Sri Lanka and 28 other countries! It’s a melting pot of cultures, ideas, and experiences, where scouts come together to learn, grow, and make lifelong memories.
Special Event Station 4S7RS: At the heart of the jamboree grounds, the 4S7RS station stands tall, welcoming scouts from near and far. From February 20th to 25th, this special event station has been buzzing with activity, with over 4000 scouts—both local and DX (international)—visiting so far (as of 23-02-2024).
Team: Leading the charge at the 4S7RS station is none other than Jaliya 4S7JL, supported by a dedicated team including Singhe 4S6LEO, Mithsukha 4S6MKM, Nalantha 4S6NAX, Priyankara 4S5PRI, Kim 4S5KMG, Shamim 4S6SCO, Nalin 4S6CNH, SWL Ranil, and SWL Yohan. Together, they’re ensuring that every visitor has an unforgettable experience at the station.
